Our Lawyers
Bobby Phillips is a native of Savannah, and earned his undergraduate and law degrees at Mercer University and Mercer Law School. He entered the Army after graduation from Law School and served in the Judge Advocate General's (JAG) office for almost four years before returning to Savannah to enter private practice.
Attorney Phillips entered private practice in 1974, concentrating in criminal defense and Plaintiff's representation. A graduate of Leadership Savannah, Attorney Phillips was elected to the Georgia Legislature in 1979 and served six years in the House of Representatives. Since 1974, he has built a reputation in Chatham County and Coastal Georgia as a powerful and successful advocate for personal injury and civil litigation clients, and continues to maintain a strong criminal law practice.
Attorney Phillips has tried a wide range of complex and high-profile cases, including capital murder trials, in the trial and appellate courts of Georgia, in federal district courts and before the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. He is active in the Savannah Bar Association, the Georgia Bar Association, Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, and the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and has an "AV" rating for professionalism and ethics.
Mandy Roberts joined Attorney Phillips in 2007 as a partner. Prior to joining Phillips & Roberts, she had been lead felony trial attorney for the Eastern Judicial Circuit Public Defender's Office. Her aggressive approach and tireless devotion to her clients' rights and due process earned her accolades as "Savannah's Top Female Criminal Defense Attorney."
